OSWINDS team supports undergraduate courses at the core study as well as the directions study programs. At the core study program in Informatics Department, the course of “Operating Systems” obligatory course at the 5th semester of studies is supported with emphasis on the Operating systems design and implementation fundamentals with projects focus on open source operating systems implementations (such as Linux). At the Directions of Study program in Information systems, two courses are supported : “Distributed Internet systems” (6th semester of study) and “Web information systems” (7th semester of study). Both place emphasis on Internet systems principles, design, and implementations with course projects focusing on emerging distributed technologies (such as Hadoop) as well as on Web data management and analytics (such as via social media e.g. Twitter APIs).
